Your information

Privacy at Olle.

Your collection is personal. This notice explains the information Olle uses to provide its services and the choices you have.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Who we are

Olle operates olleapp.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Contact us at support@olleapp.com about your information or this policy.

The information we use

We use your email address and account identifier, together with the profile details you choose to add. These may include your name, phone number, company and location. We also process the collection records, hunts, photos, documents, preferences, messages and support requests you provide, plus membership and payment-status records.

Technical information, including sign-in activity, device information, IP addresses and security records, helps us operate and protect the service. Public listings and editorial sources may add information about cars, prices and market activity.

Signing in

Email sign-in uses a link or code sent to the address you enter. Each expires after 15 minutes and can be used once. A new account is created only after your email is confirmed. If you choose a password, we store a protected password hash.

Google sign-in provides your email address, name, verification information and a unique Google account identifier. We use these to verify access, create or connect your Olle account, and manage your account. We store the relevant information with your account on our hosting infrastructure. Google sign-in does not give Olle access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar or files. We do not sell Google sign-in data or use it for advertising.

Passkeys are optional. Olle stores a public key and technical information needed to verify it. The private key is managed by your device or passkey provider. Olle does not receive your fingerprint, face scan or device PIN.

Why we use it

We use information to provide the account, collection, research, messaging and membership services you request, relying on performance of our contract with you or steps you ask us to take before entering one. Our legitimate interests in running a reliable service, preventing abuse and responding to support requests support the associated operational and security processing. We also retain records where required by law. Where a feature needs consent, we request it separately; you can withdraw it.

Sharing and service providers

Your collection is not public by default. Sharing a collection, viewing room or introduction can make the information you select available to its intended recipients. Authorised Olle administrators can access information needed to operate the service and help you.

Service providers process information needed for their role. These include Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage and email; Stripe for payments and subscriptions; Google when you choose Google sign-in; and OpenAI for AI features. Information supplied to an AI feature, including relevant collection details or uploaded material, may be processed to produce summaries, research or responses. Olle does not use these suggestions to make solely automated decisions about your legal rights or eligibility for credit or insurance.

Our primary hosting infrastructure is in AWS’s Stockholm region. Providers may also process information internationally. You can contact us for details of the transfers and safeguards applying to your information. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate security incidents.

Storage and retention

Your browser stores session information, preferences and cached content, including photos, to keep Olle working and responsive. Clearing that storage may sign you out and remove saved copies.

We keep account and collection information while needed to provide your services. Retention also depends on account status, unresolved support or security matters, legal record-keeping requirements and backup cycles. Contact us to request account closure or deletion; information that must be retained for a specific legal or security purpose is considered separately.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and manage passkeys in account settings. You can also remove Olle’s connection through your Google Account. Removing the Google connection does not itself close your Olle account; email sign-in remains available.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact support@olleapp.com to raise an objection or exercise your rights. You can also complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

The current notice is published on this page. If we change how Google user data is used, we will explain the change and obtain any consent required before using it in that new way.
